Content Manager

When first viewing the Content Manager a list of available content types will be shown, indicating the number of pieces of content of each type.

CMS CONTENT - Label tag on the left indicates the name of the content. Clicking it lists all content of this type.

Number indicates how many pieces of content of that type.
Content Type Editor Clicking the Paperclip takes you to the Content Type editor.
Page name for this content type.
Short description of the content type.

All Content is Visible Indicates that all content of this type is visible.
Some content is Hidden indicates that some content is hidden.
Some content has Expired indicates that some content has expired.

Export Content Click EXP button to export all content of this type.
Values Editor Click VAL button to assign values quickly and direct to content.
View Content Click VIEW button to view the complete list of this content type.
Add Content Click ADD button to add content of this type.
Delete Content Click DEL to Delete and remove all content of this type.

The content key appears at the bottom of the content manager screen and also allows easy access to content types.

Clicking to show a content type will show all the entries for that content type.

Content List

CMS CONTENT - Indicates the type of content. See Content Key.
Add Content Add Page - Adding a multiple page to a piece of content allows more details to be stored such as technical aspects, further reading etc.
Image Shows an Image has been uploaded and attached to this piece of content. See Content key for other types of File that can be attached.
Upload Image/File No file or image has been uploaded to this piece of content. Upload a main file or image and thumbnail.
Upload Multiple Files/images Upload multiple Files - Multiple images or files can be attached to a piece of content such as gallery images or downloadable documents.
Locate on map Map Settings - Place content on a graphic map. (Mostly redundant now due to Google Maps)
Not assigned to a Category - Content has not been assigned to a category
Assigned to a Category - Content has been assigned to a category

Short Description displays the page description taken from Content Type Editor

Anyone can view content Indicates that anyone can view this piece of content
Only members can view content Indicates that this piece of content is for logged in Members Only

Content hidden indicates Content is Hidden from visitors. Click this to Make content viewable.
Content visible indicates Content is visible to visitors. Click this to Make content hidden.

Edit Content Edit this piece of Content
Preview Content Open website in a new window to preview this piece of content.
Delete Content You will be asked if you are sure you wish to delete the content before the content is removed.
Duplicate a piece of content Make a copy of this piece of content. Heading will be same but with (Duplicated) added at end.
